About the Editorial Team Behind This Tickmill Review
An independent editorial desk writing about one broker for readers in Pakistan, with no affiliation to the broker and no financial services on offer.
Account types of our partnerWhy we publish this and who it serves
You are probably comparing brokers before you open an account, or you already trade and want a second, calmer look at the one you picked. Either way, the material you find online tends to come from places that earn money when you sign up. We started this site because that gap is real and it costs readers money.
This is an independent editorial resource about a single broker, written for readers in Pakistan. We are not the broker. We are not affiliated with the broker. We do not open accounts, take deposits, place orders or give financial advice, and nothing here should be read as a recommendation to trade.
Our reader is someone who wants to understand how a broker actually behaves: what the fees look like once you read the fine print, how withdrawals are handled, what the platform does under stress, and where the published terms leave room for discretion. We write for that person and no one else.
Where our facts come from and how we check them
Every factual claim on this site should be traceable to something a reader could also inspect: the broker's own legal documents and fee schedules, its platform terms, public regulatory registers where they apply, and the account documentation a client receives. Where we rely on testing, we say so and describe what was tested.
We separate what a document states from what we observed and from what we infer. Those are different grades of certainty and we try not to blur them. When a figure changes, we check it against the source rather than against an older copy of our own page.
If we cannot verify something, we either leave it out or mark it clearly as unverified. A short accurate page is worth more to us than a long confident one.
How often we revisit what we publish
Broker terms move quietly. A fee line changes, a payment method is withdrawn, a leverage cap is adjusted for a region, and older reviews keep ranking as if nothing happened. We treat every page as a living document rather than a finished article.
Pages are scheduled for review on a recurring basis, with the schedule tied to how volatile the subject is. Pricing, funding and account terms get looked at more often than background material. Any page that has gone too long without a check is flagged for revision rather than left to age in place.
When we make a material correction, we do not silently overwrite the old text. We note what changed, because a reader who acted on the earlier version deserves to know it moved.
How the site pays for itself without selling verdicts
Running a site costs money, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. Our revenue comes from advertising and from commercial arrangements that are disclosed on the pages where they appear. What we do not do is accept payment in exchange for a favourable assessment, a higher ranking or a softened criticism.
Commercial relationships do not reach the editorial desk. The people who write and check the reviews do not negotiate those arrangements, and no advertiser sees a page before it is published. If a commercial partner ever objected to something we wrote, the answer would be that the page stays as it is.
We would rather publish less and keep that boundary intact than grow on money that comes with an expectation of a verdict.
What a review can and cannot tell you
A review can tell you what the documents say, what the published fees are, how the platform behaved in our testing, and where the terms give the broker discretion. That is useful, and it is limited. It cannot tell you what your experience will be, because your deposit size, your payment route, your timing and your account history all shape the outcome.
Execution quality, slippage and withdrawal speed vary with market conditions and with the individual account. A smooth experience for one client and a slow one for another can both be genuine, and neither cancels the other out. We try to describe the range rather than promise a single outcome.
Nothing here is advice about whether you should trade, what to trade, or how much to risk. Those decisions belong to you and, if you want help with them, to a licensed professional who knows your circumstances.
How to challenge what we publish, and what we will not do
If something here looks wrong to you, say so. The contact form on this site reaches the editorial desk directly. Include the page, the sentence and the source you believe contradicts us, and we will look at it against the primary documents.
Where we got it wrong, we correct it and say that we did. Where the disagreement is about interpretation rather than fact, we will explain our reasoning and let readers weigh both. We do not remove accurate material because someone finds it inconvenient.
There are things we will not do. We will not publish a verdict for payment, hide a conflict of interest, or dress up opinion as verified fact. We will not invent figures, licence details or contact information to fill a gap. We will not present ourselves as regulated, licensed or endorsed by any authority, and we will not collect deposits, hold client money or manage accounts. We are an editorial desk, and that is the whole of what we claim to be.
