Our Commitment to Readers

This site is an independent editorial resource that reviews the broker Tickmill for readers in Pakistan. We are not the broker, we are not affiliated with the broker, and we do not provide financial services, accounts, deposits or advice. Because we ask you to trust what you read here, we take on a clear obligation: to handle any information about you carefully, to explain plainly what we do with it, and to keep that explanation accurate as the site changes.

This policy describes that obligation in practice. It covers what we collect when you visit, what we deliberately do not collect, where information is held and who can see it, how long we keep it, the legal grounds on which we process it, and the rights you can exercise. It applies to this website only. It does not describe the practices of the broker we review, and it does not describe any other site you may reach through a link.

What We Collect and Skip

We collect a limited set of technical and editorial information. When you load a page, our systems record standard request data such as the pages you viewed, the time of the visit, the referring page, your approximate location derived from your network address, browser type, device type and operating system. If you use the contact form on this site, we receive whatever you choose to write there, including any name or contact detail you decide to include. If you subscribe to updates, we store the subscription details you submit.

We do not collect your trading account details, your deposits, your positions, your identity documents, your payment card numbers or any information about your finances. We do not ask for them and we do not want them. We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not build profiles of individual readers for advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies are used only for the purposes described in this policy, such as keeping the site working and measuring aggregate readership. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may then work less smoothly, but the editorial content remains readable.

Where Information Is Held

The site is operated from servers located outside Pakistan, and our service providers may store and process information in other countries as well. This means that information about your visit may leave Pakistan and be handled under the laws of those jurisdictions, which may differ from Pakistani law. We choose providers that apply contractual safeguards to such transfers, and we keep the number of recipients small.

Recipients fall into a few categories: the hosting provider that serves the pages, providers that help us measure site traffic in aggregate, providers that deliver subscription messages, and providers that help us keep the site secure. Each of them receives only what is needed for its task. We do not sell information about readers to anyone, and we do not share it with the broker we review for its marketing purposes. We may disclose information if the law requires it or if it is necessary to protect the site and its readers from abuse.

How Long Records Remain

Server logs and aggregate traffic records are kept for a limited period, normally no longer than twelve months from the date of the visit, after which they are deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Contact form messages and subscription details are kept for as long as needed to answer you or to send the updates you asked for, and then for a short period afterwards so that we can show the request was handled, after which they are removed.

If you ask us to delete your information earlier, we will do so unless we are required to keep a particular record by law or to resolve a genuine dispute. Backups are cycled on a fixed schedule and are not kept beyond that schedule.

Your Rights and Legal Basis

We process information on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving an editorial site, on the basis of your consent where you choose to contact us or subscribe, and on the basis of legal obligations where they apply. We do not rely on your information for automated decisions that affect you.

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, object to processing based on legitimate interest, withdraw consent for subscriptions at any time, and ask that we restrict how information is used. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form on this site and describe your request; we will respond within a reasonable period and may ask for enough detail to locate the relevant records. If you believe we have handled your information improperly, you may complain to the competent authority in your jurisdiction.

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, and material changes will be noted on the site.
